The Steelheart I ordered arrived this afternoon. It was with trepidation that I opened the box to find it's steel curves staring back at me... all too soon I'll be locked up in it. My wife is out to lunch right now with some friends but I imagine that as soon as she gets home she'll want to take a few minutes to come and "help" me into the new belt so we can check it out on a day that she and I will both be home in case of any issues.
Pics to follow my lockup (as soon as I get permission from her lol)... we'll call it my first HNT, if it does actually happen today.
Update: It's on. It was a tight fit and is quite a bit smaller than the curve but it's on and locked on. She snapped a few pictures and I'll put one or two up in a bit... I've also go the key for the time being to make sure I can adjust but I'm sure I'll be turning it over before long!

I certainly hope (and fear!) that will be the case! I've awaited it's arrival with trepidation... both excited to get it and afraid it will work all too well lol.
I know it won't be 100% secure -- I have no piercing to go along with it -- but there is no seam, no chance of it breaking on me and giving me a few weeks' reprieve either!

Wow. Is this bulkier than the others? How do you disguise that under your pants in public? And will the metal against metal make noise as you work?

It's actually quite a bit smaller than the Curve was, so bonus there (Although we'll see tonight how sleeping in it goes). Since I wear jeans, there's not too much to worry about seeing anything obvious -- even the Curve wasn't too hard to hide. Once you realize that not everyone is as interested in your crotch as you are, it's easy to dismiss any bulge you do see.

My wife and I will both admit it was somewhat of a blatant copying :)
A few minor differences though -- we're not interested in a piercing so the whole device is a bit simpler than yours and we've got the classic lock rather than the integrated. I do have you to thank (And your HNTs!) for putting the idea in my wife's head, she REALLY likes the look of it.

What size did you get? You know, A-ring, tube diameter, length, etc. How did you vary that from your previous device?

I got the 35mm tube with a 47mm ring and total length of 100mm. I opted to go ever so slightly smaller than I wore my Curve, mostly because I knew that I had my curve a little larger than it should and I figured if ever there was a time to get used to sleeping in smaller rings it would be with a new belt.
I also got the anatomically shaped ring, I figured that one would work better comfort wise.
